replace a missing tooth.
If a missing tooth is positioned between two stable teeth, three crowns can be splinted together and anchored to those neighboring teeth. Just as an arch bridge spans land–water–land, a dental bridge spans tooth–space–tooth, restoring both function and aesthetics.
